Over the centuries, The Royal Parks have brought people together to enjoy the simple pleasures of nature and history in a restful place. London life without these Parks is unimaginable.

The Royal Parks Foundation has launched a legacy scheme for those who wish to remember London’s Royal Parks in their will. Legacies of all sizes really make a world of difference to help support the wildlife in the Parks, to protect their unique landscapes and heritage and create exciting new community and education projects for generations to come.

Today, visitors stroll along the banks of the Serpentine, relax in meadowland, play football together, listen to open air concerts and enjoy this spacious, green oasis of calm in the centre of our frenetic and vibrant capital.

Today the lake is home to Bahama Pintails, Chiloe Wigeon and five Pelicans. The lawns and flowerbeds, dating back to Nash, are a refuge for tired office workers, a safe haven for local residents and a birdwatchers paradise.

A Site of Special Scientific Interest and a National Nature Reserve of over 2,000 acres which, it is believed, contains more ancient oaks than the whole of France and Germany combined.

If you already have a Will, you only need to add a codicil in favour of The Royal Parks Foundation. You can download a sample codicil by clicking here.
