Sponsorship Manager: Royal Parks Foundation
Salary: circa £35,000 per annum
The Royal Parks Foundation is a registered charity, launched in May 2003 to help conserve and enhance London’s eight Royal Parks and improve their financial future.
The small, energetic team is based in Hyde Park, where it works alongside colleagues from The Royal Parks Agency, who are responsible for the daily management of the Parks. Since its launch, the Foundation has helped raise circa £7million for a variety of projects, large and small.
With the creation of a highly-successful, award-winning Half Marathon two years ago, the charity now needs a Sponsorship Manager to look after existing sponsors and help find new ones for a wide range of events and projects, from sport and heritage to art and education.
Reporting to the Foundation’s Chief Executive, you’ll build productive relationships with corporate partners, park management and other strategic partners to help increase income. You’ll develop sponsorship strategies, research targets, write imaginative proposals, negotiate contracts, sign-off promotional materials and report on progress against set targets.
You’ll be a great communicator and have at least five years solid sponsorship, sales or marketing experience, working with a range of clients in different sectors, campaigns or appeals. You’ll be a team player with a can-do attitude and proven success in pitching to and attracting significant new business.
